Hi,

Is there a script available for 2.6.x that will automatically mount a
usb storage device, and place an icon on a users desktop?

I currently have one for 2.4.x that does some pretty nasty things with
/proc and ~/Desktop, but having a quick look at the SYSFS options, they
appear to be able to do something similar in a "cleaner" way.

All attempts I've made so far with SYSFS have ended in failure :)
