Subject:    [gentoo-desktop] Need help with CDROM mount points

Hi all:
I did a fresh install of Gentoo. Yesterday I was able to mount CD's and play 
music CD's, today with out any changes or edits to the system files, I am 
unable to mount any cd's on my dvd/cd and my cd/rw. The mount points do not 
exist in /mnt. Can any one help work me through this problem. I am desperate 
to get this working as I need to add back my data to this system. Thanks for 
any help.
