OMG
after thinking some moments about your comment i tried something:
i commented out the second mouse in the X-config because this mouse is
no longer present on my system (/dev/psaux)
AND NOW IT WORKS - NO MORE HANGS - DAMN
the funny thing is 4.2 had no problem with the no more present mouse
