hello I'm using gnome2.2, I'have some problems with nautilus and x-chat2

my accents are wrong (I use a qwerty keyb. with international to have
such accents éèç)

but when I enter those in nautilus and in x-chat2 they goes wrong...
maybe due to UTF-8.

And when I have a file with accent un nautilus it gives me (invalid
unicode) but nor in KDE 3.1...

any solutions ?
