Hi,

i have an Problem with XFree4.2.0, glxinfo says:
indirect rendering
and in 
/var/log/XFree86.0.log occurs the line:

(WW) TDFX(0): Failed to set up write-combining range (0xe6000000,0x2000000)

So i figured out that this means that the mtrr for the card could not be set up.
An error I couldn't find in newsgroups.
I thougt to remember an bootparameter mtrr=????
but it's not mentioned in the bootparameter-HowTo.

/proc/mtrr says:
reg00: base=0xe6000000 (3680MB), size=  16MB: write-combining, count=1

Any suggestions ?
