To start misc things on startup, use the local initscript. Edit 
/etc/conf.d/local.start and basically just add any commands you want.

As for lisa, making an initscript specifically for it is an item on my todo 
list (and in bugzilla too), so expect that sometime soon (I hope). Starting 
it via local.start should be ok, I don't think it has any interesting or 
special parameters.
