I would bet  £100 that he doesn't compile EVERY PACKAGE on his own system with 
that CFLAG like you do.

Unless you are a very competent programmer, and understand how compilers work, 
and understand exactly what difference to the resulting code every -f* will 
make, you should stick to using -02 -pipe -march=..

It's the mindless optimisation, that will eventually break a package, that 
gives Gentoo a very bad name, and which is why many creators of packages hate 
us.

You said youself, it doesn't work with busybox, so its likely it won't work 
with other packages too.

If you meet my above criteria, fair enough, else stop wasting your and package 
creators time by dealing with bugs which aren't anyones fault but your own.
