Perhaps you already know this, but...

Normally, you file a bug for such things:  http://bugs.gentoo.org .  

Bug reports don't belong on the mailing lists unless you have some reason
to heads-up for others (if it eats your files, for instance), or want to
compare notes with others to see if they are having the problem (if you
wonder if it's amd64 specific or if it's something stupid in your config,
for instance).  You didn't mention bugging it already, and there's only
the emerge output, no indication of a specific question or warning that
may warrant the list's attention, so it appears to be only a bug report,
which belongs on bugs.gentoo.org, not here, thus prompting this reminder.
