Well, chmod as intrinsic function does not work; it works, however, as
intrinsic subroutine. (I don't know whether there is a need for the
intrinsic function.)

I will try to update the documentation in the next days. Is there any
other part of the documentation which is known to be outdated?

Tobias

PS: [Regarding new_line patch] Sorry, FX for including too much in the
patch. I diffed, removed the non-patch related part, found an error,
rediffed and forgot to remove the unrelated part. Thanks for finding the
extra "index" and for commiting.
