Yes, I think we should warn about that. However, I'm not sure why I
objected to your patch on those grounds; it seems unreasonable to me
now. I think that the issue of context matters, but the issue of
lexical form does not, so fixing up the lexical form issue seems like a
fine step, even if it leaves the context issue.
Anyhow, I apologize for being inconsistent.
