I configure with

CFLAGS='-g -O2 -mlongcall' CXXFLAGS='-g -O2 -mlongcall' FCFLAGS='-g - 
O2 -mlongcall' /Users/eschnett/src/gcc/configure --prefix=/Users/ 
eschnett/gcc --with-mpfr=/Users/eschnett --disable-multilib --enable- 
languages=c,c++,fortran,java,objc,treelang

For your problem, try the --disable-multilib.
