Yep.  I meanwhile tag the tree with multiple cvs runs, once per toplevel
directory (or better: one for libstdc++/, one for libjava/, one for gcc/
and one for all the rest).  Permits others to use the tree in the
meantime, because it doesn't hold the lock as long.
