Thanks Justin, I will try the solution for the ERTN problem. On the web side
the error message is from the browser (ie or netscape).the message is ' cannot
find url \changepwd.cgi'. When I remove the server from behind the firewall it
works just fine.Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

Gauntlet NT doesn't support ERTN, so thats why you probably have a problem
with email.
the only real solution I can think of is if you use packet screening rules
to allow port 25 between the Exchange server and qmail box.

as for the problem with the web, what error message do you get, is it a
Gauntlet generated error message, or a IE message.

My problem with Gauntlet NT55:

1.I have this strange problem with linux sendmail running behind the Gaun=
tlet
firewall in a DMZ.
My clients using exchange server to get thier mails get this message

" The Internet mail service is configured to use ETRN to the Qmail but
201.101.20.65 does not support ERTN. this may prevent timely delivering o=

inbound mail it will not affect delivery of outbound mail."

When I remove the mail server (sendmail) from behind the the firewall, th=

2. On my mail server (Sendmail), we have this software Emumail that allow=

users change thier password online. When I move this server to my DMZ, th=

facility cannot be used. The app. is a web based app. when this option is=

selected the url cannot be found, the page is a cgi script. Does Gauntlet=
 NT
55 has any problem with executing cgi scripts.

Please anyone has an idea of what I could be doing wrong
