Mark,

No ideas about the missing IP address. You may get a clue by looking at the
log files themselves.

Mail from <> is system-generated mail (bounce messages, DSN's etc that are
automatically generated by Sendmail). You should never block these
messages.

Subject: [GAUNTLET-USER] no ip or host in http daily report, deny email
without a return a

2 questions:

Anyone know why on my daily Gauntlet report I would get no host or ip in my
http usage list on occasion? Both internal and external hosts show up with
the host/address listed, but every so often I get a connect with no
host/address listed.
I can understand DNS latency for a host name, but the IP should always show
up, shouldn't it?

Does anyone know how to deny email without a return address? I assume this
is because the client does not have a return address. Is it possible this
is a mail relay or a problem with the daily.sh script instead?
