Subject: DNS lookup problem due to recursive query?

I assume for the readers of this list that it's rather common to setup
internal DNS servers as slave servers with Gauntlet as the forwarder, so
that outgoing DNS requests come from UDP port 53 instead of some port
greater then 1023?

Could someone whose site is setup in this manner let me know if they can
lookup the MX record for shcei.com.cn? For some reason we cannot, and the
only reason I can currently think of is that the remote site is only
permitting queries from ports greater then 1023. But of course I might be
wrong!

Thank you.
