Ubuntu
Ganglia Web Frontend version 3.3.1 Check for Updates.
Ganglia Web Backend (gmetad) version 3.3.0 Check for Updates.
Downloading and parsing ganglia's XML tree took 0.0857s.
Images created with RRDtool version 1.4.3.
Powered by Dwoo 1.1.1.

Telnet to 8652 hit enter and it returns and closes connection.  After
awhile telnet to 8652 hit enter and it nothing.  Can't break out.
Only restarting gmetad fixes it.
Running in debug -d2 shows nothing but the other threads collecting
data and writing to rrd files.
Running in debug -d1 shows some messages but they don't seem to relate.

I'm at a loss.  Strace shows nothing but select.
