My old attempt at G2 IPTC code (currently being worked on by xlerb)
also depended on the same PEAR IPTC code, but it's just a tiny
one-file script (just wrappers for built-in PHP functions). In that
case, I had just made a modules/iptc/lib directory and put the file in
there, and envisioned it as just being shipped along with everything
else.

I imagine we could have the same approach here and just include it,
since it's so small. If you ever start increasing the amount of
external PEAR code used to lots of other packages, then you could
always pack up a version without it.
