Hello Fvwm Geeks,
I like to see a new feature in Fvwm.
Example:
----[ '~/.fvwm/PROF_default/menus/' ]-----------------------------------
DestroyMenu Programs
AddToMenu Programs@20x200.side.$[SIDEBAR_BG].$[SIDEBAR_FG].$[SIDEBAR_LANG].programs.xpm@$[SIDEBAR_COLOR] \
"$[gt.Programs]%16x16.folder.programs.xpm" Title + "" TearMenuOff
+ "$[gt.Tools] %16x16.tools.xpm%" Popup Tools
<snip>
AddToMenu Tools@20x200.side.$[SIDEBAR_BG].$[SIDEBAR_FG].$[SIDEBAR_LANG].tols.xpm@$[SIDEBAR_COLOR] \
"$[gt.Tools]%16x16.tools.xpm" Title + "" TearMenuOff
+ "editres" Exec exec editres
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since my locale is
LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=de:en:fr
LC_MESSAGES=de_DE.UTF-8
I get a "editres" in german (I am working on a project named
"tdapp-defaults" which localize x-programs and add themes)
So now I like to have the possibility to get a "Right Click" menu if I
am on the MenuItem "editres" which should give me the posibility to
change the execution, e.g.
Exec LANG=$[NEW_LANG] $[program]
where $[program] should be dynamicly from the previous MenuItem (the
full Exec-String)
and since I can generate the String with
Exec LANG=`tdfvwm-setlang` $[program]
on the fly from a perl/python/bash-Script with a Dialogbox, I can
execute programs in ANY language I have configured on my system.
(I have installed realy ALL locales which exist in Debian GNU/Linux)
Is it posible to get this running?
And there maybe a possibility to use DynamicPopupAction or such, which
then create the "Language" menu on the fly with e.g. preselected or
configured languages.
Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
