Sure. But you can check FUSE_VERSION, just make sure you define
FUSE_USE_VERSION to the one you require, as per my example in an
earlier mail:
> AC_TRY_COMPILE([#define _FILE_OFFSET_BITS 64
> #define FUSE_USE_VERSION 27
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
> #include <fuse.h>],
> #if (FUSE_VERSION < 27)
