or use Conectivas apt port for rpm. It's working very well. I upgraded a
box from RH 7.1 -> 7.2 -> 7.3 while it was running without problems. Ok
upgrade from 7.3 -> 8.0 doesn't work with apt up the rest was quite impressive
for a machine running RH ;)

AFAIK the same applys to RH. What I dislike is that they've limited the free
sec support to only 12 month but that's buissnes and another topic.
