connections on the local network. If an illegal connection is detected, a
program or script is launched, which could be used to send an alert
message, for example.

code has been normalized by using "struct in_addr", "struct ether_header",

About: checksysreport performs some automatic tests against a directory
containing an untarred Red Hat Enterprise Linux sysreport. You will need a
valid Red Hat Network login in order to use it, as it fetches information
from RHN using the RHN API (see https://rhn.redhat.com/rpc/api/). A
graphical tool, yadarh, is also included: it uses the cache generated by
checksysreport to display RPMs in a given channel and lets you browse them

applications. The library includes C and Perl support. All HTML code is
put in an external file (the template) and printed using the library

modify/recompile your application when modifying HTML code, printing order
doesn't matter in your CGI code, and your CGI code is much cleaner.

escapes, LaTeX, and Texinfo as output formats. Input and output formats

About: gscan2pdf is a GUI to ease the process of producing PDFs from
scanned documents. You scan one or several pages in with File/Scan, and
create a PDF of selected pages with File/Save PDF. At maturity, the GUI
will have similar features to that of the Windows Imaging program, but
with the express objective of writing a PDF, including metadata. Scanning
is handled with SANE via scanimage. PDF conversion is done by libtiff.
Perl is used for portability and ease of programming, with gtk2-perl for
the GUI. This should therefore work more or less out of the box on any
system with gtk2-perl, scanimage, and libtiff.
Changes: A button-wait scan option. A source scan option. A locale problem
has been fixed, forcing LC_NUMERIC=C. The drag and drop routine has been

About: IP Tables State implements the "state top" feature from IP Filter
for IP Tables. "State top" displays the states held by your stateful
firewall in a "top"-like manner. Since IP Tables doesn't have a built-in
way to easily display this information once, an option was added to
iptstate to do this.
Changes: This version has a slew of new features, the biggest of which is
scrolling. You can now scroll to see your whole state table. It also added
color-coding by protocol, an interactive help menu, more filter options,
the ability to change filters interactively, significantly better dynamic

About: R is a language and environment for statistical computing and
graphics. It is similar to S, which was developed at Bell Laboratories by
John Chambers et al. It provides a wide variety of statistical and
