automatically generates control point information for a number of image
files for use with the hugin panorama generation software. To do this, it

installation of extensions beyond the basic PHP distribution. Unlike most

About: The flat assembler is a fast and efficient self-assembling 80x86
assembler for DOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Currently, it
supports all 8086-80486/Pentium instructions with MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3,
and 3DNow! extensions. It can produce output in binary, MZ, PE, COFF, or
ELF format. It includes the powerful but easy-to-use macroinstruction
support, and does multiple passes to optimize the instruction codes for
size. The flat assembler is entirely written in assembly language.

About: SpamAssassin is a mail filter that uses a wide range of heuristic
tests on mail headers and body text to identify spam. Once identified, the
mail can then be optionally tagged as spam for later filtering. It provides
a command line tool to perform filtering, a client-server system to filter
large volumes of mail, and Mail::SpamAssassin, a set of Perl modules that
implement a Mail::Audit plugin -- allowing SpamAssassin to be used in a
Mail::Audit filter, a spam-protection proxy POP/IMAP server, or almost
anywhere.
Changes: A security fix prevented a denial of service attack open to
certain malformed messages. Several very reliable rules were backported
from the 3.0.0 codebase.

About: TinyCA is a simple GUI written in Perl-Gtk to manage a small
certification authority. It works as a frontend to OpenSSL. TinyCA lets
you manage x509 certificates. It is possible to export data in PEM or DER
format for use with servers, as PKCS#12 for use with clients, or as S/MIME
certificates for use with email programs. It is also possible to import
your own PKCS#10 requests and generate certificates from them. It also
lets you create and manage SubCAs for more complex setups. The most
important certificate extensions can be configured with the graphical

Internet (IP) traffic passing through a NAT/bridge box with only one
hosts-config file with one line per host configs. TCSS can manage
bandwidth to user-specified speeds based on the u32 classifier. TCSS uses
the iproute2-u32 classifier to identify traffic by source, dest,
sourceport, destport, proto, and tos. It then limits the rate of
connection in either a single or a bidirectional fashion.

control client/server capability for an X10 automated home controlled by a

the same machine as the X10-wish drivers and the Java client can be run on

Changes: This version adds an XML class used to write and read the
configuration in a simple XML format. It also adds better management of
the onscreen objects such that there is better control over the

About: xiron is a rapid development framework to build multimedia
frontends for the XINE media playing library. A xiron-based frontend is
entirely defined by XML and Javascript files, and therefore only basic
programming skills are needed to build your own frontend. The frontend
development is comparable with creating skins for other media players, but
in addtion to the appearance being configurable, so is the entire
functionality of the application.
Changes: Most notably, the added support for skinned windows, buttons and
labels finally made the first GTK-2 based gui possible, so the xiron
framework now comes with a somewhat usable default skin. Many things been
improved behind the scenes: the interface to the scripting engine has been
rewritten, modules can now initialize its subsequent libraries threadsave

About: yafray is yet another free raytracer, still in development. Some
features like caustics, filters, depth of field, etc. are implemented.
Changes: Big global illumination improvements and speedups were made. A
new rendering strategy uses buckets for better cache performance and less
memory consumption. The photon map now uses much less memory. Yafray now
works as a Blender plugin with instant render feedback. There were also
many bugfixes.
