About: 2-Disk X window embedded Linux is a tiny net-centric Linux that
aims at portable secure remote system usage. It contains many utilities
including: X Windows, vncviewer, rdesktop, a Web browser, a file manager,

system, X scripting facilities, and many others. It aims to work from 1 or
2 floppy disks in any remote location.
Changes: The source should now be easier to compile. Some sizable chunks
of X libs were removed. Optimizations to BNF were made. The Kaffe Java
system was removed from the distribution. 1.4 Mb disk images were made the
default build option.

About: Ant is a Java based build tool, similar to make, but with better
support for the cross platform issues involved with developing Java
applications. Ant is the build tool of choice for all Java projects at
Apache and many other Open Source Java projects.
Changes: The zip task family in Ant 1.5.2 contained a couple of serious
bugs that have been fixed. In addition, two regressions in the FTP and
manifest tasks have been detected. This final release also contains some

About: Astaro Security Linux is a firewall solution. It does stateful
packet inspection filtering, content filtering, user authentication, virus
scanning, spam protection, VPN with IPSec (PKI for X.509 certificates) and

management tool, WebAdmin, and the ability to pull updates via the
Internet, it is pretty easy to manage. It is based on a special hardened
Linux 2.4 distribution where most daemons are running in change-roots and

About: b-frame is a framework for rapid J2EE development. It is based on
the assumption that it is possible to create business (i.e. transactional
client server) applications just from knowing their structure. It defines
sets of XML tags for describing databases and applications operating on
these databases (application layer) and template implementations
(implementation layer), respectively. It provides XSLT-stylesheets (core
layer) for merging the user provided application layer and the template
layer into real applications. By default, it comes with a J2EE
implementation layer.
Changes: It is now possible to join tables to list or display groups and
to customize the user input for the select operation. Some bugs were also
fixed.

prevented Mozilla users from moving messages into an IMAP mailbox was

About: eL DAPo is a PHP-based application for managing and querying LDAP
servers. It can rename, modify, and delete LDAP entries, as well as
modify, add, and delete attributes associated with an entry. Search
filters can be changed while a session is open, so users only have to
bind with the LDAP server once. eL DAPo also includes a configuration
file to make it fit well to your current schema.
Changes: A bug was fixed that reported a protocol error with some LDAP
implementations while a blank search filter was used. A bug in the search
result was fixed where an @ symbol in the cn attribute (default attribute
to display for search results) would cause search results to not be
displayed properly. This also resulted in the inability to follow the link
to the detail entry view. This has been fixed for all HTML entities.

About: XT-Mail scans the contents of email messages using the Exim
local_scan feature. It operates after the sending client has completed the
SMTP data phase and is waiting for an answer from the servers. Messages
containing unwanted content can be rejected, redirected, or blackholed. It
supports any antivirus Daemon that handles compressed attachments and
SpamAssassin. Two different scanning facilities are supported: antivirus
and antispam.
Changes: The code now correctly sets the maximum message size that will be
sent to the spam daemon.

About: YARRS is (yet another) Unix-based server for the SONIC|blue Rio
Receiver. It uses dhcpd, nfsd, ssdp, and HTTP servers to provide MP3
content. Written in Perl, it should work on any Unix platform, and is
fully documented.
Changes: A fix for "Play All Music" for artist, album, genre, or title.

synthesizer for Linux. It has microtonal capabilities, and the
instruments it creates sound like those from professional keyboards. It
includes effects like reverb, echo, chorus, and phaser.
Changes: Bugfixes and improvements were made, and a port to VST was
started.
