something off-topic.

I have to access some functions and structures written in C (as a DLL)
as Visual Basic code – since I'm a complete novice with VB.net and
marshalling unmanaged C code in particular, I'm stuck.  Any expert
here who has experience with this kind of `translation', and who has
some time to check my non-working code?
