Hi, after having a look at cff source code and primaryly the comment at 

cffgload.h:  /*    bbox          :: Unused.                        */

it seems that bbox is not used in cff fonts so i'll suggest removing the 
cff_parse_font_bbox function as having a function that noone calls seems to be 
a bit useless :-D
