I noticed this as well. All PNG files from the 2.04 
Freetype docs (at least those received via the zip 
file) are broken. I tried loading these PNG files 
from about five different graphics programs and they 
all find all the PNG files to be bad.

I just downloaded the latest 2.04 FreeType.  I have been reading the
documentation but none of the images show up.  I am using Internet
Explorer 5.0, which does support PNG files.  Any thoughts?
