Well I tried to take the next step of installing iODBC and DBD::ODBC, but again with \
limited success.  Maybe it's not the product, but the documentation I'm having \
problems with.

Anyway, I was able to recompile/install freeTDS with the --use-iodbc option and then \
compile/install iODBC.  I also setup a ~/.odbc.ini file as such:

When I get to DBD::ODBC, I do exactly as stated in README/INSTALL.  This time it \
correctly recognizes iODBC and not unixODBC like before.  This must be an error with \
SuSE's out-of-box installation of iODBC; since I did a re-install it magically \
worked.  But, when I run 'make test', I get a ton of DIED. FAILED. tests:
