  This morning I was playing around with the new freetds snapshot.
I was testing sqsh 2.1 against sybase 12.5 using 7.0 to connect.
Suddenly the db hung (imagine users on the phone, that kind of
thing) I had to bump the db to get it started.  Sybase log said:

  Type '' not allowed before login.

  This never happened to me with 0.51, the last time I tried it.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
