Hi,
may I suggest you use CP/M? you can write your own BIOS from the examples
that come with it. It is a very good operating system and runs Turbo Pascal too!
There are also ansii C compilers. Not more than 2 years ago I made applications
for a handheld input device in CP/M... Cross devellopement was on a PC using
CPMS and BC31.

How big are the possibilties of porting FreeDOS to Z80? I'd need a real operating \
system for my new Texas Instruments 83+ graph calculator ;-)
