If I configure Xorg to run two devices, one INTEL, one NVIDIA, then only
the INTEL device will come up.

If I comment out the INTEL screen from the ServerLayout, the NVIDIA Screen
does work fine.

Why does the use of an Intel device stop the nVidia device from coming up?

All the details (config, log) are here:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1208407/using-intel-gpu-and-nvidia-gpu-at-the-same-time

Surely, Xorg should be able to drive two GPU devices in one server?
