The xhiv test suite I recently wrote also has checking for specific out-of-range
inputs, and could be expanded to use random values for fuzz testing, but I'm
also not aware of anyone having done so.

Unfortunately, there's not much direct formal QA/QE involvement in the X.Org
community - mostly testing is done by the packagers/distros in their environments
and communities, and X.Org mainly just sees the bug reports or patches that come
out as a result.
