Dear All,
I hope this is the right mailing list for this. I'm looking to draw
rectangular borders on top of pre-existing windows, and I'm thinking
the X11 lib is the best way to do this.
The question is, is this possible when I'm using non-compositing
window managers like openbox? I suppose it's possible to create a
window without decorators in X11, but will making a rectangle involve
of making four really thin windows on each side?
Or is there a way in X11 to draw without windows?
Cheers
