People are seeing edge-scrolling fail on their Acer Aspire One
laptops. There are bug reports in both Ubuntu[1] and Fedora[2].

The offending commit was:

0f2802726f Auto-adjust right_edge for touchpads with hardware scroll area

Where, near as i can tell, edge scrolling was purposely disabled if the
RightEdge option was specified in the configuration. This seems like
an unfortunate decision since it broke many setups.

Is there any chance that a new option could be introduced for the new
feature and the original semantics for the RightEdge option restored?

Thanks,
Sean
