Hello,

I am trying to add support for 965G chip to the "ddccontrol" program
(http://ddccontrol.sourceforge.net/). It appears that their PCI region
selection in ddccontrol-0.4.2/src/ddcpci/intel810.c is bogus.

After modifying the source so that it accepts the 8086:29a2 PCI ID and
uses the 0th region (even though it is 1 MB in size), I was able to send
DDC-CI commands to my Samsung 770P monitor over VGA connection (even
though there are CRC errors sometimes).

However, my attempts to send these commands over DVI (with HP ADD2 card)
failed (ddccontrol finds no monitors that respond to I2C communication).
How does one set up the I2C bus in this case?

If this helps: the xf86-video-intel driver from git can read the EDID
over the DVI connection, so the problem is in the ddccontrol software.
