The git URL's shown in the GIT webinterface are wrong for the user
directories like
http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=users/alanh/xorg.git;a=summary
shows;
git://people.freedesktop.org/~alanh/xorg
But that will not work, it has to be;
git://people.freedesktop.org/users/alanh/xorg
