Can someone clarify what the status and future of the DocPath entry is.
Is this going to become a standard entry. Where can I find information
about how to process this entry.

In
http://standards.freedesktop.org/desktop-entry-spec/desktop-entry-spec-0.9.4.html
it indicates that this is a non standard KDE extension but I see this in
a lot of GNOME files on my Suse box. I also see X-GNOME-DocPath.

I am writing an app that needs to launch help for KDE and GNOME
.desktop files and need to know what entries to look for and what is the
expected action on them.
Thanks.
