Since you've brought this up twice now:

No.

I, and many people I know, use the Tab key to get to the entry box. It's 
really much faster on a laptop instead of using the touchpad, especially 
for forms you use every day.

Between form fields, it is also much quicker to use tab and shift-tab to 
go to the next and previous one.

In fact, I hardly ever use the mouse in my browser.

I think that was Claes said about Ctrl-Tab mirroring the behaviour of 
Alt-Tab is very important. Shift-Left/Right has no metaphor or 
interaction/usability 'parent', and conflicts with functions that have 
been used in text entry for at least two decades.
