Bug #: 45604
Summary: xdg-email detectDE() subroutine not consistent with
xdg-open
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Portland
Version: 1.1.0 rc1
Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: xdg-utils
AssignedTo: portland-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org

Add full DESKTOP_SESSION checking to xdg-email
I know in some cases, there may be good reason for the inconsistency, but I
think they should be the same with regards to handling the DESKTOP_SESSION
environment variable.
I'm using a combination of xfce components with Awesome WM, and I need to set
DESKTOP_SESSION=xfce to get xdg-open to work properly. After applying this
patch, xdg-email will respect the same variable. I basically just yanked and
pasted from xdg-open.
