Hi, saw your postings after being alerted to the discussion. 

FWIW, we are expecting approval of vnd.scribus (format up to 1.3.3.x) and 
vnd.scribus+xml (for our new format) "anytime soon".. The IANA is not exactly 
quickly about this though.
