     It took me by complete surprise.  I was downloading a file over the
modem via FTP in one window, and had a "find $HOME -print | xargs grep ..."
running in another window.  I hit Ctrl-C in the "find" window, and after 1
second -- poof!  Instant reboot.

     Anything I can do to provide useful post-mortem info?
/var/log/messages doesn't appear to contain anything useful.
