The binary packages are of 3.23.39, but do not include innodb support. 
If you have downloaded the ports tree, you can build mysql with innodb
support by adding "CONFIGURE_ARGS+=--with-innodb" to the port Makefile.

It's disabled by default because previous versions of MySQL would fail
if MySQL was built with innodb but there were no innodb config entries
in my.cnf.  I think that's fixed now, so --with-innodb should probably
become the default.
