I've checked the sources and no, it's not the case.
Alsa OSS plugin doesn't use mmap.

On the other hand, I see that we do quite heavy patching to its native version
(audio/alsa-plugins/files/patch-alsa-plugins).  It's quite possible that the
same patches (or at least a portion of them) are needed for the linux version to
fix audio recording through the plugin.
