I think so. But I am not aware of all of the consequences of such an
action. An MFC of the locale support will imply striping the "_" from the
"ISO_xxxx" strings, for example. The new support for monetdef, msgdef and
numericdef needs library changes. BTW, monetdef locales for countries in
the Eurozone must be updated...

Since the FreeBSD locale maintainers are subscribed to this list, maybe
they could enlightment us about these issues :-)
