Could  be due to custom options. Maybe the ports with default options 
are ok, but some custom option you set triggers the circular dependency. 
This needs to be fixed in the ports tree anyway and is not your fault, 
but in such a case it would be helpful if you could state any custom 
options you have, and try to isolate the one causing the issue.
