Hi,

I am trying to pxeboot a rackable 1u box with freebsd 4.8-RELEASE and
4.6.2-RELEASE.

The fxp interface gets stuck at the following errors:

fxp0: device timeout
fxp0: device timeout

repeated ad infinitum.

fxp0: <Intel Pro 10/100B/100+ Ethernet> port 0xc400-0xc43f mem
0xfe4a0000-0xfe4bffff,0xfe4fe000-0xfe4fefff irq 5 at device 1=2E0 on pci1
fxp0: Ethernet address 00:e0:81:25:44:27

This is a Tyan 2721 board with dual Xeon 2.4GHz I have tried creating
kernels with SMP and APIC_IO turned off but still the same result.

I then gave up on pxe and installed via CD-ROM. but the fxp interface
refuses to come up and keeps flashine the same error on the console.

Has this been seen before? Any suggestions ?

Thanks,
-ansh
