>Organization:
Kendra Electronic Wonderworks
>Environment:
Install FreeBSD 2.2.8 release from CD-ROM's with no network during install.
>Description:
The FreeBSD installation prompts for registration information, and allows saving this
information if a network connection is not immediately available. However, the
generated file is devoid of instructions (in particular the e-mail address to send the
registration to) and thus unless the installer writes down the address, the registration
is likely to be discarded.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install FreeBSD and use the registration option with no network connection.
>Fix:
Include e-mail address in the generated output file with suitable comment on how to mail
it.
