The problem could be in the entry as Rolf suggested because you have in log
entry identified as "emailAddress=joe@blow.com=People,dc=example,dc=com"
but there should be "emailAddress=joe@blow.com,ou=People,dc=example,dc=com
Other setting i would check is email-address-attribute-type in SMTP Handler
settings. In our system mails are working fine, I have there "mail" value
so email address is taken from mail attribute from the entry.
