i think you are all getting out the course here, i mean, blocking EVERYTHING
but safe files (that is a whilelist with txt, mp3, etc etc) workd much better
than a blacklist, just think about it, there are new virus extensions everyday,
so you have to be monitoring the extensions and adding more and more lines.
PLUS checking for the safe files (like txt) to not be trojaned by something,
using a whitelist, you only have to be sure that running .txt wont run some
unwanted program, thats all, and if some user needs to send a .exe, well, he
can always use winzip to send it, if he dont like it, then your users dont
consider they as being the most important part on the security policies
