Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a FTP/HTML/SMTP/+?
scanning application that could work either on a (Solaris)
Firewall-1 host or on a host which is passed traffic from a FW-1
module. It should be able to scan for Virii/VBS and/or SMTP traffic
based on keyword search or Headers and URI's for HTTP. Basically a
one-stop shop for all content filtering. It doesnt necessarily have
to be integratable with FW-1.

I see VirusWall is supported by Sun, any recommendations there ?
I am ideally looking for something which is fairly modular, ie
something that could be passed or can scan different traffic based
on destination port, not just port 20/21,80 and 25, for example
if HTTP traffic was also being sent to port 8080 I could tell it
to check that too.
If I could specify some traffic to be scanned in one direction
and other types of traffic in another direction that would be
great. It should also provide a decent level of reporting too,
not just dumping offending traffic to /dev/null or whatever.

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations,

Tony.
