Hello!

I decided to get this weekend to put Flowscan back in order in our NOC. =
At businessday whe are so full of work that it was just impossible to do =
it.

Well, it worked. I followd the now howto at =
http://www.dynamicnetworks.us/netflow/, by Robert Galloway (very good =
job, congratulations) -- new from the last time i ran flowscan.

Flowscan works for a couple hours, then starts to fill the LOG with an =
error message, and the load average of the server goes up to 50 - all =
other services goes down, everything slow, etc...

From the flowscan log at /var/log, i can see what the problem is. It's =
trying to fill the .rrd files with data dated 0 (epoch?).. so they will =
not accept it. What I cand figure out is why it happens suddenly.

ERROR updating /var/netflow/rrds/core01/service_real_src.rrd: illegal =
attempt to update using time 0 when last update time is 1122828000 =
(minimum one second step)
ERROR updating /var/netflow/rrds/service_real_dst.rrd: illegal attempt =
to update using time 0 when last update time is 1122828000 (minimum one =
second step)
ERROR updating /var/netflow/rrds/core01/service_real_dst.rrd: illegal =
attempt to update using time 0 when last update time is 1122828000 =
(minimum one second step)
ERROR updating /var/netflow/rrds/network_routers.rrd: illegal attempt to =
update using time 0 when last update time is 1122828000 (minimum one =
second step)

Also, detail.. first time I ran flowscan and the rrds where build, i got =
the same error, but as the current time was a couple hours back the last =
update. Just deleting the .rrd files and it worked...

Besides that, MY ASN .rrd are always ZERO. Any tip on that is always =
welcome.

Thank you very much.
